Velma Dorian: rambunctious, sarcastic, impulsive, loyal like a golden retriever-- weird that I'm going with that comparison, also a little morbid, with just the right amount of narcissism and pessimism and lets not forget her lifetime of being victim to endless, and frankly, boring, Scooby Doo jokes. At 18 years old she embarks on the journey that is life-- sadly, she's a walking disaster. Velma moves to Seattle with her friend, Annie, to attend school and try to remain sane. However, as luck would have it, things don't always go as planned and you some times end up with a life-changing problem the size of King-Kong and there's no beauty on earth that can tame that beast. Sit and take a load off and watch as Velma Lorraine Dorian tries to dodge every weird, paranormal, fantastical, stupefying curve ball life throws at her. And witness for yourself as she battles... Lust and Control. Right and Wrong. Good and Bad. Ridiculously curly hair on a humid day. All Velma believed to be true is ripped away and the only thing left are pieces she must put together. -- well, that, AND the slice of pizza she lost in her room. FIRST book in the WILFTF Series!
