The summer before sent to college, Claire Dawson is forced to stay with her optimistic aunt, Delilah, in St. Louis. Claire never liked St. Louis for a couple of reasons: it brought back bad memories, she had to leave her best friends in New York, and Washington University, the college she was going to, was too good to be true.
