The term "Hyper" refers to the genetically altered beings that has surfaced the Earth over the last few decades. Their origins are unknown, although, scientists have stated that the traits can be passed down to future generations. However, the latest age of Hyper have begun to use their power for evil. Elias Clay is currently the most feared man in the Universe. His ability to absorb anyone's power and use it against them has earned his title as "frightening." Numerous attempts to dethrone him have failed. Several Hyper have banded together to create a police force called the "Solar Syndicate" in order to increase the chances of stopping Elias' tyranny.
