After for what seems like a one-night-stand of an between an immortal vampire and shapeshifting werewolf, a baby is born. The result is a hybrid named Amris, short for Amaryllis. Due to the death of her mother and the strange disappearance of her father, she was raised in an orphanage and eventually taken in by evil forces. Forces that placed her in an enigma formed by dark energy, making her an official vampire slayer. In her world, it was all a myth. But she soon found out that all of it.. all of the stories she was told, all the books she would read.. were real.
