Sad Lies Bad Guys is a story about a good girl named Calli Thompson who has a boyfriend named Brody White. Brody is the school's Quarterback who has tons of girls that literally throwing themselves at him. Since he's in a committed relationship, he ignores all of them or so Calli thought. Caleb Miller, the school's trouble maker, finds himself holding Calli in his arms. Although he's an arrogant jerk, he has a soft side that Calli may discover. Caleb is the exact opposite of Calli, he has a tattoo, he's conceited, skips school, and drinks alcohol. What will Calli do when she meets arrogant troublemaker who breaks girl's hearts left and right? Will she overlook his troubles or will it be too much for her to handle?
