Este livro é fruto do projeto que tem como objetivo aperfeiçoar a leitura e a escrita dos alunos do 5ºB (2016) do Colégio Pentágono - Unidade Caiubí, através da articulação do planejamento bimestral da disciplina de Língua Portuguesa da escola e propostas de trabalho com gêneros textuais.
           A proposta de produção textual que originou a criação deste livro foi baseada na mescla entre o gênero textual Narrativa de Aventura e o jogo RPG. Depois da experiência vivida pelos alunos de uma partida de RPG com a temática do filme Avatar e de aulas sobre a criação de uma Narrativa de Aventura, nasceram narrativas, nasceu este livro. Essa experiência foi pautada na escrita criativa dos alunos e no contexto significativo entre as funcionalidades discursivas  do gênero textual e o universo do jogo RPG. 
           Cada capítulo uma narrativa diferente, apresentada pelo aluno/aluna autor/autora que é identificado ao final de cada capítulo. Enredos que possibilitam o leitor se deparar com dragões, magos, sacerdotes, navis, desafios, magia e muita, muita aventura! Preparados para aventuras incríveis?
