Toryn Hale would rather be in literally any situation than she is now, including buried six feet under. She is completely and utterly alone. There is no one left for her to turn to. She has systematically cut every single person that every mattered to her out of her life, except for Val- and now Val is gone too.

With nowhere left to turn but the past, Toryn confronts the only piece of her life she has left: her old diary chronicling her relationship will Val. In a final push to either conquer ghosts or be destroyed by them, Toryn forces herself to relive her relationship by reading her diary in her last effort to come to terms with her past in order to move forward again.

But some ghosts have no place in the world of living.
