"You promise you'll never forget me, right?" I asked, a tear escaping my eye.

"I promise." He said while wiping my tear with his thumb. He kissed my forehead and let go of made hand. 

The plane to Doncaster was leaving for the next four minutes. He left with his family, leaving me alone with tear stained cheeks.
