Raised from a young age under the pristine principles and orderly corridors of the Jedi Temple, Jungkook has always felt certain in his role in becoming an elite protector of the galaxy: a Jedi Knight. But after an unexpected revelation results in his dutiful master leaving him, Jungkook's sureness of his destiny falls into turmoil as he is plagued with questions regarding the sacral doctrines of the Republic and his role as a Jedi.
Meanwhile, another young Force-Sensitive finds himself thrust unwittingly into the heart of the Jedi Republic. Torn from his family and thrown into the strict regimens of Jedi training, Taehyung struggles immensely to discover the meaning of his new design and the responsibilities that come with it.
In the midst of the young Jedis' turbulent quests for self-discovery, a foreboding darkness grows slowly but surely in the far edges of the galaxy, threatening the Jedi Republic and all it stands for. As they brace themselves for what is to come, Jungkook and his fellow Jedi Knights are forced to face their most sinister fears and illicit desires in an epic struggle to determine duty from passion, reason from emotion, and ultimately, good from evil. Along the way, they begin to see that perhaps not everything light is good, nor is everything dark necessarily evil.
Fated to walk a path plagued with darkness, each Jedi must find their way out or else be consumed by the chaos deep inside them...
