In the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, three children from poverty stricken southwestern Virginia save the life of a small dog. Three days later, in a neighboring town only a few miles away, a break-in occurs at an illegal top secret weapons lab. Both events unwittingly move the hands of the Doomsday Clock several minutes closer to midnight. With millions of dollars now at stake, thousands of lives hanging in the balance, and the fate of the nation's capitol dangling precariously on the edge, the fate of everyone that comes in contact with the G.I.Z.M.O. could potentially become one of hero or villain. However, if the clock runs out and strikes twelve, anyone involved will be written into history as a mass-murderer of thousands. Copyright © 2018 by C A Malosh All rights reserved. "I bandaged everything the best I could. It will need stitches. However, I'm afraid that it is broken. Same as your leg. Broken and needs stitches. How's your head feeling? I haven't been able to get that sucker to stop bleeding." His voice sliced through the air. I stare at him, confused, looking around, wanting to be anywhere but here. He clears his throat once again. "Mate, did you hear me?" "How is your head feeling?" I close my eyes. What the fuck? What the fuck? I was angry, annoyed, and frightened. What, mate? What cruel world would make me mate with a wolf? No, no, no... My arm and leg were throbbing intensely. My head was screaming. I brought my fingers up to my head to try and rub the pain away. I needed to leave. Now. I told myself. My mind is still groggy, unable to swiftly move my body like I need to. I didn't even notice I was crying until his voice rang through my ears once again. His footsteps quickly, walking across the hardwood floor. The first book in the series Not very good lol 😆 Completed, still needs editing though let me know what you think!
