A killer's on the loose in year 2085.

Rachel, a planetarian with psychic abilities, gives tours in Quincy, Illinois. Her grandfather's device, the Empathy Tracker, makes planetary maps. Rachel sees and hears stories in greater detail when the Empathy Tracker projects maps during a full moon.

On Valentine's Day, Rachel hears a familiar story when she plays the Gem City Planetary Map. She becomes alarmed as the story becomes more detailed about her grandmother's childhood friends Nadine and Bill, who never returned from their honeymoon.
