Hayley Thorn is all alone in the world, her parents doesn't care and her friends are all gone. She hates her life but during spring break something unbelievable happened. A dark beast that lurks around in the shadown of the night changes Hayley's life forever. Everything changes from here on, Hayley need to struggle to survive this new life. Everything is hightened and every little thing can get her angry beyond control. But now she's not alone anymore and with these new friends comes a safety that she has missed for so long. But even the closest of friends has secrets long forgotten and burried in the past. As an old enemy comes to town they need to stay together but with every secret they drift apart which can only result in one thing, sometimes ony the strongest survives.
