They had their trust broken at a very early age by the people who were supposed to protect and love them. I have been very open with them and have told them several times that they are family to me now. I have also said that if they don't feel the same then that's okay. I decided to open it again and once I did that there were no more rats not even one, then we heard footsteps and heard crying then we heard someone voice saying 'please, please don't hurt me' it sounded like a 14 year old.
