We've all heard of the Kingdom Keepers, right? You know, how they saved the park and triumphed over evil? But have you heard the rumor of replacing them? Yes it has been twenty-six years since they were installed. Who knows. It could all just be rumor. But let rumor have it. A new group of five friends are replacing them. They don't know it yet, but a whole future of saving the park is upon them.

You, Y/N, couldn't be happier in your entire life. The love of your life is fighting with you side by side and helping keep others safe and out of danger. His kindness extends to the far reaches of Ooo for you and he has made it very evident that he would do anything if it meant keeping you safe. You undoubtedly express the same feelings towards him on the battle field and especially off of it, taking great care of him and his comrades whenever they get hurt or are just in need of a friend. Soon, however, Finn starts leaving the tree house more frequently and he becomes a little distant. You don't take it too personally, but his ghosting mood starts to become a common thing in your relationship, and your suspicions arise. He'll leave late at night and come back the next day when it's almost dawn, covered in bruises or even still bleeding. He tells you it's fine, plugging in excuses for his behavior, until one night in the woods you find him with another girl. You had never been on quite steady terms with most wizards, but this one had to be the worst. The two of you have dark history and with Finn now getting in the mix without his understanding makes him a dangerous advantage to her. If this "training" keeps up with him coming home with more injuries then you will have to stop them. What if this girl doesn't stop? What if she keeps going until she kills him? What if she kills him to get to you? You can't risk your hero getting hurt by one of your own enemies. Once upon a time he lost you when you were too far from reach; you aren't going to lose him now when he's this close. If she wants to play tug of war with Finn then you'll entertain her. But the last thing you will do is allow him to be on the wrong side of wizardry. Because as far as your concerned, you're in the right. The Girl Who Made Life Worth Living
Finn has been the man of the house since he was a child. Simply surviving, he doesn't want any more responsibility than he's already burdened with at 18 - until he helps a mysterious abused girl he met near his new workplace. His caring and protective nature quickly brings her into his life but their budding relationship falls apart just as fast, until an incident and the subsequent events make them slowly come back together. Later, when Finn loses the only other thing he cares about in life he's faced with the choice of driving her away or being vulnerable enough to depend on her. Maybe she can finally make him feel taken care of back; the one thing that he's always truly needed. A more mature and healthy rewrite of a book I started writing when I was 14, inspired by the trashy, dramatic, emo love stories I was obsessed with on this platform a decade ago. I was dealing with a lot at the time so I came up with this book idea, where both main characters have dramatized aspects of myself in them, as a way to make myself feel lovable, so writing this now is a nostalgic and creative way of looking back, processing, and letting go of the emotions I was going through as an adolescent.
