5 parts Ongoing For centuries, humans and elves lived in bitter conflict, leaving scars on both lands and hearts. To stop the bloodshed, they divided the land into two territories: one for humans, one for elves, with a strict boundary. Crossing it meant death or imprisonment. Over time, both sides grew to despise the other, passing down tales of cruelty and hatred.
On the human side, grand palaces and busy villages showcased their pride, while the elves lived quietly in the forests, blending into nature. Some dared to cross the boundary out of curiosity or rebellion, but they were never seen again, becoming warnings to others.
Levi, a curious young human, questioned the terrifying stories he'd been told about elves. Were they truly the monsters everyone described? His family warned him, "Stay away from their territory, or you'll be killed." Yet Levi's curiosity only grew.
One day, Levi wandered into the vast forest bordering the two territories. Though the boundary was well-marked, he became lost in thought and failed to notice the hidden signs. Unknowingly, he crossed into elven territory.
As the sun set, Levi realized he was lost. Panic set in, but soon he spotted a small cottage nestled in the trees. Its wooden walls and thatched roof stood out, and Levi felt a wave of relief. Maybe someone there could help.
He knocked on the door, heart pounding, and when it opened, he was stunned. Standing before him wasn't a human-it was an elf.
