Fear
Psychological Horror and Slow-burn Dark Romance. 18+ --------------------------- It's been five years since that fateful Friday night. I remember it like it was yesterday. The night I was kidnapped. I was held against my will. Tortured. Starved. Broken apart, piece by piece. All in the name of "curing" me. He didn't just steal my freedom. He rewrote the rules of pain, of fear - and then, somehow, of love. If you'd told me I'd fall for the man who ruined my life, I would've laughed in your face. But reality doesn't always follow logic. He's given me this journal and I'm going to write my story. This is my truth. My confession. My war cry. Because what he did to me deserves to be known. --------------------------- THIS BOOK CONTAINS TRAUMATIC CONTENT! TRIGGER WARNINGS: Kidnapping, assault, systemic abuse, mentions of Domestic Violence and childhood trauma, phobias, blood and gore, body horror, and mental illnesses including severe psychosis. Love's Rapture
What would you do if you met your soulmate when you were fourteen years old? What would you do if he was taken from you less than two years later? I decided to pretend it didn't happen and eventually people found out. After a year under the close eyes of my parents, the help of an amazing counselor, and a new environment, I was ready to start college. I'd finally let go of Breton and I was looking forward to my future as an art teacher. But then he showed up, this person from my past. He started making me feel things I wasn't sure I was ready to feel, especially because of who he was. What was I supposed to do? This story has a very traumatic death early on in the story, please use caution when reading as it could cause triggers.
