Nathan Johns was always a bubbly person. He only had one friend that he knew since they were pups, Kellin Quinn. They were inseparable. With their love for music, they made a duo and played at an open mic. One day Kellin and Nathan were offered a record deal and quickly agreed, to later find out that they would have to move to California to become official. This created a problem, since Nathan was 15 and the future alpha of the Dust Pack, he had to start training. They were confused and had a fight. Kellin ended up leaving to California, even though he was future Beta. After Kellin left, Nathan went downhill. He became more and more antisocial everyday, causing him to get social anxiety. He became depressed and started cutting himself. He closed himself out from everybody. He was bullied everyday. Now he's turning 18 and has to be the alpha. Kellin remembers his birthday and decides to visit his childhood friend. But will this be the right choice? Will they make amends, or will they get farther from each other?
