The thirteen years old Betty Jollywaters is forced to spend her summer vacation at her aunt's place in Hollowoods, a small village on the Scottish countryside. Yet what she expected to be a horribly boring holiday turned into a crazy rescue mission which gained her some unusual new friends who shall assist her on her task.
