The Loric have spent over a year on Earth after the war that decided humankind's fate and their own fates. But it is time to go home, to rebuild Lorien into the beautiful world they can barely remember. John remembers the dead planet Henri showed him in the orbs from his Loric chest, and how when he blew on it, the planet came to life. All Lorien needs is a Loric spark to come back alive.
But before they can go home, Ella travels to Mexico, back to the Sanctuary, to try to talk to Legacy, to understand why this all happened and what should be done now that it's after it all. What she finds out is something she never could've been prepared for and it will test all of the Garde in ways they've never been tested before. The war may have ended, but there is still one major battle to be won before they can even dream of leaving Earth.
Takes place after the end of United as One, the final book in the Lorien Legacies, disregarding any additional books, novellas, or series by Pittacus Lore after United as One.
