The Beast - sample
I've been locked in this mysterious mansion for ten years. Cleaning and following the rules of a Lord whose face I've never seen. Rule 1: Don't walk the halls at night Rule 2: Never leave the property Rule 3: Don't ask about the Lord of the estate Once you leave the mansion, you can't come back. My mother tells me I should be thankful because only crime and death remain outside the gates after the war. But after ten years of cleaning the same halls and reading the same books, after ten years of unanswered questions, my curiosity got the best of me. I snuck out of the mansion and went to the nearby town: a crime that could get me banished. I began asking about the mysterious Lord, and tonight, I will walk the forbidden halls and hope to catch a glimpse of him. This is a 15-chapter sample. The Complete story is on patreon.com/ancientt

Suddenly, he pulled me towards him by my waist... A little yelp escapes from my mouth and i grab his suit or jacket whatever he is wearing... My heart is making a loud sound like a drum...I know he can also hear it... "OPEN YOUR EYES..." He demands...I denied... "DON'T TEST MY PATIENCE..." I shivered as I felt his anger but still didn't open my eyes... "OPEN YOUR EYES DAMN IT..." HE asked me being frustrated by my behaviour... I slowly open my eyes and meet with a beautiful pair of eyes...a pair of dark brown beautiful yet dangerous eyes... "ARE YOU OKAY, WIFEY???" ___#___ It's a story about a dangerous,cold, ruthless, arrogant mafia and a sweet, innocent orphan girl who are bond with each other under circumstances. This is my first book...I don't know why I'm doing this torture to you guys... English is not my first language.There are many grammatical errors.I hope you guys will help me about that. All the characters are imaginary and story is mine . If someone find my story similar to theirs then I'm sorry.It' must be a coincidence.I don't own any of pictures I have used in my book..All the credits goes to their respective owners.. pardon me for my mistakes🙏

Update: The first rule of writing is to follow through and edit later. I discontinued this book because it was not well written, it was not planned out, and it was not consistent. Therefore I will continue to write it, for the sake of completion and giving Michael an end (in more ways than one) I will finish this. [Just so everyone that reads this book knows, I have made the decision to just leave this book to rest. I won't edit it ever probably and no future sequels are even on the horizon. Therefore, the book will feel incomplete at the end as the sequel would've filled the gap between the last chapter and the epilogue, as well as filling the New Moon gap with mainly original content as I would've had her not be in Forks during New Moon. But I want to focus on writing my own original books, so I will probably never revisit this book to edit it, or at least not anytime soon! My friends and I role play a lot in this website called chatzy.com. We have this whole world mapped out based on the Hunger Games. We live in two mansions. One is the main mansion, where we all used to live until it got really crowded, and then the second mansion belongs to Gracie. Her mansion is by a waterfall, just a ten minute walk away. Most of us have super powers. I mean, if the Capitol can make mutts, surely we can give ourselves super powers. Gracie has black wings, Talia has super speed, Chris has super strength, Derrick can make himself invisible. Nina can make herself invisible and make force fields too. We all have issues here. Sierra doesn't talk. Chris is a germaphobe. Chase cuts himself. We all have reasons for running away from the districts and the Capitol, but we've all found sanctuary here. This is my challenge to myself to get better and more consistent at writing daily. Rules I will upload a part to a story every day. Some stories will be shorter than others and some may continue over multiple days, but I will upload everyday, no matter the quality. Consistency over perfection.
