Aria, a culinary student with anxiety issues, becomes a crew member of Cotton Candy Kids, a band she idolizes. While the struggles of budding fame are in full effect, the last thing the band needs is tabloids ruining the image they worked so hard to produce. Stuck around an overly charismatic male lead, a secretly sad singer, a fiery bassist, and a recluse drummer, Aria feels the pressures of tour. Alison, a singer with a secret, ends up in trouble as she disguises herself into a "normal" girl named Alex. Dancing between two faces can put her at risk, in both personal life and in the eye of the public. As soon as she meets a boy, an aspiring photographer named Nick, life gets a bit more complicated.

The crowd was chanting so loud that they could be heard in the furthest lot, at the opposite end of the venue. The band hadn't even arrived yet, even though they were supposed to have been there before the show even had started, but the crowd was wild with anticipation. There wasn't one silent body in the stadium. A few crew members raced by as the band's manager, Emily Green, was waiting anxiously for them to arrive, pacing the floor behind the stage. She looked out the curtain once more to see an almost angry crowd. She had been calling Scarlet almost obsessively, blowing up her phone with unread voicemails going straight to her inbox. *** Scarlet Rein is not so popular at school, but she finds herself the photographer of a well known band, Falling Waters. Publicly hated, but secretly has a side job that could make her the most successful in the providence, if it were to be known. Colter Thorn and his group, Falling Waters, are the newest and hottest band in all of Alberta, Canada. With killer songs and an amazing photographer, they seem to be unstoppable and growing fast. But being their photographer isn't the secret that Rein is keeping, but the fact that she is the reason the band is even a band. When Falling Waters is up for an incredible contract, their manager, Emily Green, knows that Scarlet's secret has to be kept at all costs, even if that means Scar and Colt have to fake date. With all the romantic outings to keep up their act, it was more than obvious something would happen between them, but will their obsession with one another harm the band? Will Scarlet's secret come out? Can they have a normal relationship in the spotlight?
