This is collection of letters written by a girl who's best friend just committed suicide. She begins to write these letters to the reader (her friend) to see if they will regret the choice they made. Dear reader: I am writing this in order to help people who feel this way to ask for help. It shows the chain reactions. I really hope it helps at least one person. Please understand that the things written are about how hurt she is, she says things that later she regrets, just as we all do. She has flaws. It is not in anyway written to encourage suicide, its to discourage it. Please know that you are worth so much more then you think you are. You have a life before you, everyday might not be good, but there is something good in everyday, find it and focus on it. You are loved, you are strong, and you are going to make it through!

Losing someone who once lit up your life is like losing a piece of yourself. In the aftermath, I searched for that lost spark, tried to rise from the depths of despair, but was haunted by shadows of doubt and negativity. How do you go on when the person you cherished most vanishes without a trace? Alice disappeared suddenly, leaving me in the dark, wondering endlessly what I could have done to drive her away. In my endless grief, with no one to confide in, I turned to writing letters-letters to husbands who never responded. Yet, through some twist of fate, these letters became a book, a chronicle of my sorrow and longing. This book is a tribute to Alice, released on her 20th birthday. It is my hope that she, wherever she may be, will accept this as a gift-a testament to the bond we once shared, and the impact she had on my life.
