Birth of Jack is the first book in the series, The Tale of The Black Assassin. It is a story about a man named Jack Flint Blakes. Jack's father was brought home in a coffin when he was only seven, his mother commits suicide and Jack goes to live with Eddard Brinkly, an old family friend. One day Eddard dies in a hunting accident and Jack joins the Royal Military. Whilst there he discovers the King he served was involved in the murder of his Father. The King finds out and Jack is ordered to be assassinated. Find out what happens in Birth of Jack.
