"Unless you've been under a rock this past year, you know that Detroit has been taken over by the undead. And, judging on the news, you probably think "Oh, those poor survivors trapped by the zombies! They must be having a horrible time!" Well, as a survivor, I can personally tell you that those news stories are complete bull. Surviving the zombie apocalypse can be very fun, and isn't as bad as one may think. I dare say that I'm having the time of my live right now. So, I plan on sharing my story. It has ups and downs, its (mostly) comedic and (very few) serious moments. Love it or hate it, this is my story. Oh, and the story of a few others." This is the description of a book Trent Brooks, a survivor of the Detroit outbreak, is writing. He intends to make it one of comedy, as that is the life he and his crew members try to live. However, with tragedy on the horizon, writing this story and keeping his mentality may prove difficult.

Alright, so people these days are kinda different. Especially when the z-pocalypse started. Now people, or survivors as I call them, are kinda different. Unlike our days before, they can either take in a group or a lone stranger to be in their group. But right now, they're all different. They'll bust in to your property with guns as confetti, bazookas as fireworks, and grenades as firecrackers. Now once they took over your territory, they can either unhook your soul from your body or give you a chance to see our terrible world again. But don't worry about me. I ain't one of them. My names Rory by the way. Anyway, enough the talking and more on the story. In these so called "WalkerDays" People are struggling to survive against the flesh eaters for what we mostly call zombies but in our world, we call them walkers. In the middle of the apocalypse, Rory is a 13 year old girl who is living in Atlanta, Georgia. Rory's father is military man and has been elected as the leader of their group after the true leader died. At first, their community is at Fort Benning, then a week or so later, their group decided to take over a part of Atlanta then slowly take over the whole city. Weeks passed and they'd completed their task and had a very large community. As months passed Rory's teacher assigned her to be the leader of her group of 32 people in her school. One day, there was an attack by the deaders that happened in their whole community and Rory led out her group out to the safe house but one member didn't follow the orders which caused her group to be separated away from her and then she decided to travel on her own and later met a group.
