My name is Frost Shadow, I'm 15 years old and I... am Experiment 22953
My story starts with me being taken away from my mother, father, my brother Kris, and my little sister Bella. I was only 10, my little sister was 6, and my brother was 12 when they killed our parents in front of our eyes. I sacrificed myself to allow my sibling to escape from 'their' clutches. For 5 years 'they' have been injecting different coloured liquids into my veins, but the main two colours are ice blue... and black.
Very soon after my partial transformation 'they' changed my name from Rosella Shadow to the name you all now know me as... Frost Shadow. My beautiful blonde hair changed to raven black with ice blue streaks, and my dark hazel eyes changed to ice blue with very little black streaks. Everyday when I wake up, when 'they' finish checking my heart rate and my brain waves, and every night before I go to sleep I think about my sibling who would have to be at least 17 and 11 by now, where they are in the world or if they've been captured.
But I will promise you, when I get the chance... I will search for them... And keep them safe, even if it means giving up my own life.

And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language.
