Erik (aka Number 12) is a single introverted lawyer who dislikes his neighbor.
Charles (aka Number 14) runs a foster home. Meaning he has far too many children and very rarely has them under control.
This results in some quite passive aggressive letters (and a whole lot of sexual tension) between the two of them.
But when Charles and his foster home come under real trouble, from a man Erik can't stand, will he put differences aside and help the man across the fence?

Charles Xavier has been through too much. After losing his mobility after the events of the mission in Cuba, he's a shell of the man he used to be. Finding release in alcohol, he tries to forget all of what he has lost. He tries to move on with his new, broken family. But one man stands in the way of his happiness- the same man who took it away to begin with and broke his family. Days well spent
After I hit Charles, paralyzing him from the waist down, I felt obligated ask if wanted to stay at my house till he could get back on his feet, metaphorically of course. He had seemed lonely, in a sense. But who knew he would make such an impact on my family. I was struck by Erik's car and I forgave him, it wasn't his fault. He offered me a place to stay till I got the hang of my new life style, an offer I couldn't decline. I found that they were rather poor and since I came from a sickeningly rich family, I decided to pay for a few things. But who knew he would make such an impact on my life. When Erik hits Charles while driving home to his two children, Peter and Wanda, he is filled with guilt. Charles, being the person he is, forgave him. Charles is lonely and having a hard time adapting to his new life, seeks help in Erik, and slowly, Falling in love. Cherik modern AUComplete
