Detective prodigy Elucel Klein wasn't like any other detective; he was young, cunning, intelligent, and wise - gaining him a reputation no detective before him ever had.

Die-hard mystery fan Aurum Cinder has been waiting all her life for a mystery - one that would make her wrack her brain for answers, one that would put her mystery novel knowledge to the test.

Milirian Yard intern Wynstonne Yovelski is a skilled hacker with a goal to piss the hell out of a certain detective named Elucel.

Chief Inspector Callister Venere, a man known to have climbed up the rankings faster than anyone before him, has been looking for some thrill in his life full of bland, boring cases.

When a series of oddly executed murders - from victims being buried alive to a student hanging from a flagpole - rocks the school's foundation, the four - Elucel, Aurum, Wynstonne, and Callister - were bounded by fate to walk down the same path and solve the case and the reason to all the murders succeeding it.

[FEATURED×6] He hunted criminals, but now he was the prey. ••• Call it foul play, but Criminal investigator Cien Morris loved the smell of freshly withdrawn notes, fair or not. The case on his table this time? A missing bounty of Thullium. When the ship laden with the metal vanished into the depths of the sea, desperate geologist Philip Paniz singled out his apprentice, Aaeila King. Cornered, Aaeila had a wild story - no conspiracy, no theft, but the insidious pull of Eblis. And to clear her name, she even proposed to journey into the Eblis itself. Cien initially dismissed it as the ramblings of a desperate woman, until a survivor from a previous Eblis disappearance turned up dead. Suddenly, the hunter became the hunted, framed for a crime he did not commit. The clock was ticking, and the choice was stark: rot in a prison cell for a crime he didn't commit, or jump into Eblis. Either option meant darkness, but one offered a sliver of a chance to clear his name while the other promised a slow suffocation. Cien knew which way to jump. ⋅ ──────────── ⋅ A Cillian Murphy in the mysterious Bermuda triangle feel. CC: @xxsoteria ©Inky 2023
