Fantasy used to be just a genre of book that I would read as a child. As I grew older those books became more and more predictable and I grew tired of them. But sitting on this beach, I now can see why people dream of different fantasies, dream of a life that they can't have. It also reminds me of the life I used to have, before coming to this beach. A life of normality, to an extent, and of predictability. Now after meeting him on this beach, I don't see how I could ever go back to it, and even if I did want to go back, my tail is permanent.

When the girls discover a cryptic message carved into the sand-"THE LIGHTHOUSE KNOWS"-they are pulled into an unsolved mystery tied to Avenmoor Island's old lighthouse, which has been abandoned since a brutal storm ten years ago. As they explore the island, they uncover hidden messages, coded symbols, and evidence that someone-or something-is leading them deeper into a web of secrets involving: • A lost treasure ship that wrecked off the island's coast, • A secret society that once protected the lighthouse's true purpose, • And a strange power source hidden beneath the lighthouse, linked to ancient nautical legends. The girls follow a trail of clues-each one riskier than the last-while being watched by someone who doesn't want the truth revealed. In the final chapters, they'll uncover the shocking truth about the lighthouse, the storm, and a decision that could change the future of the entire island.
