Set in the fantasy world of Chiyolas, meet Lancelot Ashridge, a young priest in training. Lance helps to protect his village from monsters and demons, despising the latter with every fiber of his being.
 Back from a mission in the woods he is greeted to his village being attacked, and witnesses his father being murdered. As he himself is about to die he hears a voice telling him to grasp the Demon Blade in front of him and when he does so, turns into part demon himself.
 Join Lance as he travels the world, seeking revenge on the ones who destroyed his home while also seeking to cure himself of his demonic curse.
