Long ago when children dreamed, there was a place called Neverland. Filled with action, mystery, natives, legends, and mystical creatures. But since It, the Island, appeared everything has been different. Children have stopped dreaming as much, their growing up. Metal cogs can be heard from the Island, strange noises always explode from it. Smoke seems to fill the air around it, the waters are black except at the bottom. Where colors such as grey, green, yellow, and red glow and seem to pulse with life.

Neverland soon became Never Neverland, as children stopped telling stories and believing in them. Even Peter Pan had crawled into his hideaway along with his fellow lost boys. Captain James Hook had disappeared one day along with his crew and ship, the day the island appeared. The Natives had been frightened into hiding in caves and underground communities. The Mermaids never should themselves to anyone unless they absolutely needed to. Even the Pixies hid most left for a better place or hid in trees, bushes, or mushrooms.

Only the daring or brave walked out in the open, more like the Gifted. A new race had appeared on the Never Neverland, a few days after the Island appeared...

(A Twist On Peter Pan) “I’ll kill you, you hear me? I’ll kill you!” My face was red as I fought against the ropes that bound me to one of the masts. “I’d like to see you try Alison, because you’ll fail. Peter has failed, and look at him now.” He gestured to Peter, who was on his knees and was getting punched and kicked repeatedly by a large group of pirates. “And why don’t we watch your precious Will.” He grabbed my chin and forced me to look at Will, who was suffering the same fate as Peter. “Oh and don’t forget about your dear little Lost Boys.” I heard a scream and looked at Aaron, who was being hit by a man three times his size. “Stop! He’s just a little boy, please. You have me, you have Will and even Peter; we’re whom you want. Just let them go, you’ve won.” I sighed as the wicked man grinned at me. “Very brave Alison, very brave indeed. Well men, she said let the boys go, so let them go!” He said and I went pale as I realized what I had done. “No! Stop!” I screamed but it was too late. I watched with tears in my eyes as a pirate picked up Aaron and set him on the plank. I started to thrash around in the ropes, and felt them loosen a little bit. Come on! “I never liked children.” Hook said absentmindedly as Aaron started to cry, and looked at me, and I smiled at him. “Think of the stars Aaron, think of the stars.” I whispered as his scream rang out through the boat, just as I broke through the ropes and attacked. 17 parts Complete

"I've forgotten how to fly, Peter." Wendy looked ashamed. "That's okay. I can teach you again. Please come with me, Wendy. One last adventure before you truly have to grow up." ******* It was nearly half a decade ago when Wendy Darling awoke, finding herself and her brothers safely returned to their cozy little house on Bloomsbury Street after an almost dream-like adventure in Neverland. The pirates, mermaids, Natives,...Peter Pan. Every one of them were marvelous. And for years afterword, Wendy held out hope that Peter would visit again. Yet, he never did. And the Darlings grew like all children of the world. And as their minds transitioned from that of a child, they began to wonder if their adventure was only a dream after all. If Peter was only a dream after all. Without the Darlings' belief, Neverland grew dark and Peter started to change... But that is only just the beginning. An unwanted marriage, Hook's newest dastardly plans for revenge, an evil released upon the island, blossoming feelings, and a past threatening to be remembered. Together, these things will make Pan rethink the morals engrained into his entire existence. For Peter may discover that youth cannot provide him with everything he ever desired. ********* Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters except Joey.
