{Wattpad Featured Story}
Nolan Clay was convicted of murder and dishonorably discharged from his marksman position in the Navy SEALs all in one night...for a crime he didn't commit. After spending ten years in prison, all Nolan wants to do is live a quiet life in the mountains of Colorado.

However, when Nolan is called upon by the Central Intelligence Agency to investigate rumors of terrorist activity, what he uncovers is more than he ever bargained for.

Old enemies are planning to disrupt the way society functions and have created a system that seems unbreakable.

Nolan must decide between two things: Walk away from the chaos as a condemned man, or save it from itself.

 This is a serial story and I post every Wednesday! It will not include any language or inappropriate scenes, but there is violence. Thank you so much for reading! ^_^

Sixteen years ago, my sisters and I moved from France to the United States to live the American dream. Not long after, I met Declan, a marine who was home for his mother's funeral. He was my everything, my world, and the love of my life. Four and a half years later, I became his fiancée. Then, when I thought everything was going well, my world ended when I awoke to him gone. No note, no nothing. He was just gone. I waited days, weeks, and months to hear from him and for his return. That never happened. Then, I met Chadwick, who took the pieces of my broken heart and put them back together. He promised me many things during our dating years, guaranteeing he'd give me the world. And he was. Then, after years of not wanting to give my entire heart to him, fearing he'd do what Declan had done, I pushed the fear of him leaving me aside and married him. The night we married, instead of giving me the world he promised, I was gifted a nightmare. For over six years, I lived in a lake of fire. If I wasn't locked in a dark, cold room for days on end, day and night, I was tormented, punished, abused, and tortured in the blackest darkness until I could no longer see, talk, or move. Maltreating me until he broke me. Finally, one of my prayers was answered when an ally close to Chadwick helped me escape the prison of hell. She flew me out of New York and brought me to her friend's home in Mobile, Alabama, where I got the shock of my life. He wasn't just her "friend." He was a ghost from my past, and now I'm in his care. Oh, and he has a child nearly as old as our breakup.

This is my go at a VALORANT fanfiction; this will be using a character I created (that you, reader, will be in the POV of.) I apologise if it sucks, I'm trying my best. *** Mountains, ice and snow. This was all Everest knew and understood; until a freak accident that occurred on her descent from Mount Everest completely turned her life upside down. Fearful of her sudden new abilities, she cut herself off from everyone around her, isolating herself to prevent anyone accidentally getting hurt. News reporters had shared her early discovery of her abilities to the world, even without her consent.Nobody saw her after that, and wondered where one of the greatest mountaineers of their time had disappeared to. From afar, she watched strange men in laboratory coats and armed guards take people away from her town. Family, friends, neighbours. She didn't know who these people were, or why they were doing it, but she had a solid theory. That they wanted her, and were using those close to her to draw her out of hiding. To try and control her, to kill her, she didn't know. A new organisation contacted her out of the blue after a while, offering safety and help with her new abilities. What she didn't know, was this invitation would change her life. For better or for worse, we'll find out. * Action starts to ramp up chapter 10+. Hang in there and have some fun, thanks for coming along with the ride! ** - Updates most likely every two-three days from now on - TWs include: slight swearing. Violence. Slight manipulation. Implied torture.

In 1842, a 17-year-old runaway flees to Ireland to escape her power-hungry brother and is thrust into a catastrophic series of events that may end in life... or death. Back in the 1600's, two brothers created an intricate system to send coded messages through clocks . . . some big, some small, all equally as important. Nicknamed 'Donovan' and 'MNT', these brothers were as close as could be . . . until one little mistake on Donovan's side rips them apart and turns MNT bitter. Now, almost two centuries later, Lizzy Mason is running for her life in London, never staying in one place too long for fear of discovery. Her brother wants something she has and will stop at nothing to get it. Lizzy feels trapped - there is betrayal and danger at every corner, and she doesn't know how to get out. She runs to Ireland, dragging some of the few people she trusts with her, but Lizzy ends up putting herself and her friends even closer to danger. All she wants is a place to rest, but she doesn't know where to find it - and she will risk everything she has to get there. She thinks she already lost everything. Little does Lizzy know that she has much more to lose, and she might just give it all away. What will she risk to discover what she's been trying to find ever since her parents were killed all those years ago in Germany? And is she willing to die just to win?
