The King's Nurse [Elvis]

14 partes Concluida

Karen Nielson loves two things: Elvis Presley and nursing. She has been a nurse for ten years, and all that experience pays off when she gets a phone call on her 35th birthday. It turns out that Elvis Presley is in need of a personal nurse at his Graceland mansion in Memphis. Of course, Karen knows that The King has been in ill health for a few years, mainly due to an opiate and prescription drug addiction, but never in her wildest dreams would she have imagined that she would be the one to help ween him off of those drugs, and make sure that he doesn't indulge in more. In other words, she has to babysit the handsome, polite and charming 42-year-old star until he gets better. Things get a little complicated when her love for him gets in the way... as well as his growing feelings for her. It's against the rules to be involved with her patient, no matter if he's her favorite star and she has been his fan for over twenty years - she could get fired. How would she help him then? Taking care of him professionally could result in saving his life since, tragically, he may not live much longer if he continues down the road he's on. So, love or life, which will it be?
