Imagine a world without any idea of self image. No mirrors, no pictures of oneself, only what we imagine ourselves to be. Others who saw of your features were not allowed to share their thoughts, for speaking of another's appearance was forbidden. The price to pay of any slip-ups were harsh and inhumane. A world where you're told to be yourself.. Without truly knowing who you are.
