"You can't get away with killing us!!"

The declaration echoed through the dimly lit room, met with unexpected amusement from the blood-drinking demon. He chuckled, a sinister sound that reverberated off the walls as if he'd heard the funniest joke in eons.

"Relax, children," the demon drawled with a sickly sweet tone. "I have no intention of killing any of you. My plans are far grander. From this moment forward, the world you've known will cease to exist. You are to become the servants of others for the greater good."

A heavy silence fell over the room. Cami scanned the faces of her friends, noting their expressions of confusion and terror. Some girls wept openly, while others struggled futilely against the burly men who held them down. Unable to suppress her rising dread, Cami's voice trembled as she broke the silence. "W-what are you t-talking about?"

The demon's eyes glittered with a malevolent delight as he leaned closer, his grin widening. "Darling, you're about to become an immortal slave."

For Cami Santiago, summer break was supposed to be a time of carefree fun with friends. But their idyllic escape turns into a nightmare when they discover that the stranger who followed them to their remote cabin harbors a diabolical plan. Faced with the terror of human trafficking, Cami and her friends are thrust into a world far more sinister than they imagined.

The true horror reveals itself as they learn that their fate is not merely in the hands of wicked individuals, but ancient Gods and Goddesses who run a cruel selection process. Only the "best" are spared in this macabre game of survival, and Cami finds herself deemed a prime candidate for the gods' twisted entertainment. As she and her friends grapple with their grim reality, Cami must navigate a treacherous path where the divine and monstrous intertwine, and her fight for freedom becomes a desperate struggle against ancient forces.

What's worse, he's angered a few of them: Zeus's master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Percy and his friends Grover the satyr, and Annabeth, the demigod daughter of Athena, must find and return Zeus's stolen property and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. They travel cross country to the gates of the Underworld in Los Angeles, facing a host of enemies determined to stop them. Well...that's the story we're acquainted with. However, the world of mythology never stands by itself, and once Percy finds his true nature and starts questioning if the greek world is all it's showing itself to be, and that secrets lie beyond even the god's eyes, the plot that brews beneath the seams of reality starts to falter, and the greek world finds itself merging with a crueler, infernal world. This is the Tale of a Cruel World, and of a Demigod who finds himself to be wrapped up with a being that could not be fathomed, even by a titan's eye. --------------- A Percy Jackson re-telling, merged with Terraria Calamity, specifially some of the fanmade expansions, namely Wrath of the Gods. 36 parts Complete
[COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.

Just like the death of his sister that left a hole inside him. ''Our fate is that of a tragic love story. And yet, here I am, unable to let him go. Directing the both of us to our appalling end.'' Y/n L/n is described as the light, the magic and the happiness. But on the inside, she's just as broken as any other demigod. She's been living with the feeling of loss present in her, as if she is already dead. But she doesn't want anyone to see that, so she makes an effort to be happy and bright to everyone. She takes care and worries for everyone. Sometimes though, she loses control of her emotions and goes back to what she used to be: a monster! One day, while Y/n is helping her mother, she receives the visit of an old friend. He is pleading her to help the camp Half Blood. She immediately leaves her mother behind. Through fights, magic, tears, strategies and practices, she will find something new. Something that will appear only when a certain death boy is around. Is it love? Or, maybe, simply curiosity? Warning: Mature language and themes. This story is mostly slice of life day to day stuff. So if that's not your thing don't worry about it. This is the first in the timeline, but it can be read later after the second. _ Anna splashed the warm water on her face, running her hands over her wet skin in attempts to set herself straight. "It was just a thought" she told herself, just an odd thought. Why get do rattled? It was exactly like Dr Jefferson had said: it was late, she had a hard day, that kind of situation coupled with a horror movie.. It was just a thought. Wiping her face with the towel on the counter she let out a sight. Feeling a bit more refreshed now. However, as soon as she removed the towel and saw her reflection.. "Did you brush your teeth?" An older woman came up to the doorway of the small bathroom where she felt like she were standing on something besides the tile floor. She had short hair and a white coat. "Yes momma." A younger voice smiled, causing the mother to cross her arms, "Let me see." not convinced and going to check the toothbrush of the girl. "Ok fine! I'll brush my teeth.." Her response was quick and a little annoyed, probably to keep from getting caught in a lie. The woman stood in the doorway to watch. Short blonde hair just reaching her shoulders, and a pair of cyan eyes looked back in the mirror with a much younger face. Disappearing just as soon as it had happened. "Aahah!" With a yelp Anna stepped back dropping the towel in the process, as sheer terror made it's way through her. Light, dark, weavers, Outcasts. It's all new to Anna, if that even is her name. After waking up with a blank slate of a mind, she has to not only relearn the ways of the world but also her own powers and what exactly it means to be "souless". The Order of Kismet, the goddess of fate, where is her place here? And is what they're doing truly right? Remembering is risky but it's the only chance she sees.

Off the Plank: A Neverland Story

40 parts Complete

In Neverland, no children grow up - except one. He was first a lost boy with no name and no past, then a reluctant pirate with no hope for a future. Now, he is about to become Neverland's new hero. Silver doesn't know where he belongs, with no memory of where he came from or even by what name he was called before he came aboard the Constantine as a lost, wandering ten-year-old. He also can't seem to figure out why has been growing from boy to adolescent much faster than he thought possible in a place where time supposedly stood still - a very strange island called Neverland, laden with myths of women with fish tails instead of legs, tiny men with insect wings, and natives who seem to know something the pirate captain doesn't. After his bloodthirsty captain leads him into the gruesome plundering of an indigenous village, Silver's quest for answers becomes a quest for redemption for the things he committed on that fateful day. But it will require having the courage to reckon with his past, accept his fate, and maybe even learn what love is for the first time. And it all begins the day he is sentenced to death by walking the plank.
