A mentally-depressed and naive, sixteen year old, Katherine Clayton, falls in love with her new next-door neighbor, Damien Sky. There are a few things about this Damien Sky; he's the boy at the back of the room, earphones on, not-giving-a-damn, and of course, sleeping. He's the boy with a couple of names who is in a band and has, what's that term teens use? Aha! "cool" friends. He's the boy in worn out Vans shoes, Blink-182 shirt and a skateboard. Despite of the facts that Damien already shows no sign of interest with her, Katherine still tries to pursue her feelings for Damien. In the end, the result shocks them both. "Don't let the book cover fool you, it may look cute and happy, but the story is a whirlwind of emotions. A chunk of paper filled with colors of black, white, red, pink, gold, grey, and of course, blue. Very nice." - Becca Fitzpatrick. "I love Damien's music taste. He is not cliche." - Lauren Kate. "This story will change your point of view of today's teenage generation and young love." Lauren Kate. "Illuminated, lovely, sad but worth it." - John Green. "We all have a little bit of Katherine Clayton inside of us." - David Levithan. "10 out of 5 stars!" - Times (the reviews are fictional lol obviously)
