"Do you wanna know what I think." He says in a voice that she didn't recognized. 

"Yes" she says. her angelic voice morfs into a curious one.

"I think that we're all in our private traps. Clamed in. And none of us can ever get out"

He looks her in the eyes as he speaks. As he speaks, she stops playing with the hem of her shirt. 

"We scratch, and claw, but only at the air only at each other." 

There was a brief pause of silence until he spoke again. 

"And for all of it. We never budge and inch."

There was silence until she said, "sometimes we deliberately step into those traps"

"I was born in mine. I don't mind it anymore" 

She spoke her next words carefully,"well you should, you should mind it"

Then he spoke words that she couldn't refuse or change to better. 

"I do, I do mind it,but I say and  pretend that I don't." As he chuckles humorlessly. He leans back slightly, And falls off the roof.
