English, not French. Only a few French words.
This is Jaqueline Legrand. Legrand is a family name that is French for "the tall/large". She is descended from high society but is forced to transfer from her blessed life in Paris to Connecticut. She goes by Jaquie (pronounced Jacki). She is very feminine and speaks English as a second language. She has a strong, classy French accent and a girlish voice. She is 15, almost 16 and can't believe her 16th birthday won't be at her favorite cafe, Le Petite Pinson (The petite Finch). She is kind and caring, and her personality is vintage and girly. In the future, she will face having to be tough to save her family.
--------
Gwendolyn, or Gwen, McKnight is fourteen years old. She lives in Connecticut. She doesn't have many friends and takes lots of classes, but she's quiet and doesn't take part in a lot of conversations. She's not exactly shy since she will joyfully give a report, and she's very scholarly and intelligent, but she just doesn't enjoy talking anyway. She has a secret though, and it happens to be that she's suffering from a strange illness, and the only visible sign of it is how frail she is, which is one of the reasons she doesn't talk much because she's afraid someone will point that out. That also means that she doesn't go out much, seeing that if her strange illness acts up, she might suddenly collapse or worse. That means she doesn't have many friends, but she doesn't really mind. (Her frailness isn't very noticeable, but she remains cautious anyway)
------
What happens when the two meet and need each other to survive?
------
This is a role play I am doing with @MagicCat18192. When the characters are conversing, I am writing Jaqui's responses and point of view and @MagicCat18192 is writing Gwen's. Enjoy!

Lola, raised to be a hardworking farmer, when all she wants is a bit of agency over her life, the freedom to do what she wants. And Natalie, who has no personal desires, simply living in moments and finding the best in whatever is going on. Freely engaging with her friends and helping them, as she lacks her own internal drive, the self awareness to know what she wants. Y/n has a secret. Actually, she has a few secrets. Y/n used to be involved with the BDSM community for several years with her fiancee, until her new job at the BAU slowly forced her to become more and more separated from her double life. One fateful night, it all changes. Y/n's life is now in shambles, and she has to navigate through her feelings alone. Y/n tries to throw herself into her work, finally allowing herself to become close with her team; but there's one person she can't connect with - her unit chief, Emily Prentiss. Y/n admires her from a distance, concealing her feelings for her unit chief. It works for a few months, but secrets are bound to be exposed, especially when you work with the world's top profilers. One case that hits way too close to home for Y/n proves just that. ... My phone dings as I sit back. I grab it, seeing a text from Emily. I gape openly at her text. "Fucking hell," I breathe. "What? What is it?" Garcia questions me in concern. I swallow harshly. "Emily texted me," I say, "It's a list of rules for tonight." "What do they say?" Garcia asks excitedly. I bite my lip as I read her text out loud. I take a breath, looking at Penelope. She shrugs at you through the mirror. "How are you doing?" She checks. I shake my head. "As good as I can be, given my role-play with the Chief just began," I groan, "I am going to regret this." ... TRIGGERS angst smut BDSM swearing degradation potential lack of aftercare - death/unaliving guns and other unaliving instruments blood mentions of rape and torture (for the cases obvs) kidnapping (for the cases, again, obvs) - anxiety/panic attacks depression throwing up (mostly from being drunk fun fact, Y/n likes to party) ---- *obvs I don't own any of the CM cast. I'm not following a particular plot from the show, and I make up my own cases for the team to work on. "I don't like to think of myself as this kickass, badass Lara Croft, no. But I try not to be your typical every day Jane Doe. So I where does that leave me? In the middle, I guess. So there. I'm just your atypical- yet completely ordinary- girl with a bloody crown. Yeah, that has a nice ring to it." At 14 years of age, Joan Domshov thinks she has it all figured out- well, mostly that is. Though her ducks may not always be in a line, she's pretty confident that if she's made it 14 years then she can make it 14 more without the world caving in on her. Oh how one can dream. Exposed to a new world with which she shares a closer tie than she knew, Joan realizes there's more beyond anything she's used to. But change is good. Unless it comes in the form of an eerily charming yet minatory king from the other side of Edalirwen. When her brother is taken by the king who seems to have a personal vendetta against her family's namesake, Joan will travel to the other side of a world that is rumored to be folklore. Regardless, Joan is certain she can prevail. But as her confidence is shaken and her perception about who she truly is starts to diminish, she'll be left questioning the person she once thought she was. Smartmouthed, snarky, and clueless to her obstacles, Joan will figure out whether she is a girl with a tainted past or something else entirely.
