A skillful samurai who aspires to become next chieftain.
Kikyo is the only son of the Autumn Village chieftain. His ancestor is the foreign price, Goyo. He doesn't have any innate abilities of wielding wind, fire, or water. Since the Autumn Village holds a power-centered philosophy, his lack of inborn ability leads him to daily hard training to become the next chieftain. He has a sense of inferiority and rivalry against other ninjas.
When he was little, he was fascinated by a samurai warrior that he had read about in a book, and he chose to become a samurai instead of a ninja. Although he is a samurai, he is also a well-respected leader of the ninja team in the Autumn Village called the White Tiger School.
