My blood ran cold as soon as the words left my father's mouth. "Dad no. Anything but that." I begged, clasping my hands together in front of me. "I'm sorry V-La but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me! For us, Val. It'll be a new beginning." Dad said softly. Valentine Firton was forced to move to America because if her dads job. See, being a lawyer kinda makes you move around. PJ, Val's twin brother, is the one that tries to make it work. For him, and his sister. Not only does he want Val to enjoy their new school, he wants her to make friends. GIRL friends. See, Val has never had a girl friend. 'All they do is talk about Taylor Launters abs, or about their nails, or their hair, or how much make up they're wearing!' She says. Seriously, it's ridiculous. Now, she's not saying that ALL girls are fake sluts, just the majority of them. If she met a decent girl, yeah she'd befriend them! And it's not like its all Val, because its not. Girls just get pissed when Val falls asleep midway through their fangirl-ing. Okay, so now that that's out of the way, lets tell you about the school's absolutely ERMAHGERD-worthy hottest guys ever. Blake, Julian/Jay, Hugo/Hugsy and Dante. Total flirts, man whores, yet the sweetest guys ever. Immediately, they latch onto Val as their new best friend. She loves them. They're amazing for gods sake! So when the handsome guy she met on the plane to California, that she flirted with mind you, shows up at her new school.... Awesome, right? Well, he doesn't seem to think so. Not because he didn't like her, though! He did! Just... He's not exactly a.. Erm... Student.... Okay, so this is where I say something cliche like, 'Join Val on her epically funny journey through her last year at high school, full of romance, passion, adventure and humour!' But I hate bios like that, so I'm just gonna say read the book. It's funny. It's sad. It'll have you laughing and crying (if I'm a good author) and I really hope you like it.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
