Samantha has always lived a hard life, you see it all started on December 8th 1990 the day she was born. And after that terrible day things just kept getting worse. Until maybe now. This year 16 year old Samantha is starting high school in a new  state with her new family. She is hopeful for the first time in years but her hope may turn out to be short-lived as the struggles of life catch up to her. Will Samantha go through heartbreak and sadness again this year or will she actually begin to live and experience the beauty of life for the first time.

Authors Note: This story features some intense moments. Characters face rape, abuse, suicidal situations and more. So please be cautious of this. 
However the entire story does not focus on only these intense topics.
