Varinai was the Padawan you never heard of. Her very existence was secret. Nobody knew that she lived. But more importantly, nobody knew that she was the Jedi apprentice of one of the most powerful Jedi ever.

Anakin Skywalker.

What nobody knew, not even Palpatine/Sidious, was that Anakin trained not only Ahsoka Tano, but Varinai Miini, as well. Long before he turned Darth Vader, he found her, a young, 14 year old girl, living alone on the desert planet Abafar. Anakin rescued her from the wrath of the Separatists, seeing that the Force was strong with her, and brought her to Coruscant to train with him in secret.

A few years later, after Anakin's near death on Mustafar, Varinai Miini joined Darth Vader to continue her secret training. He was still training her for the Jedi, because he wasn't truly turned, not yet completely warped like Sidious. Even still, he taught her a tiny bit of the dark side of the Force.

Varinai realizes that she'll have to make an appearance soon, before both sides of the Force crumbles. But which side will she choose? Will she even choose a side, or fight for neither?

When other villages increase their raids on the Saursunes' farms, the aliens retaliate by hunting down every human they can find - except Natalie's group. Instead of trying to kill her and those helping her, they bring them food instead. Is it a trap? Or something else? Natalie isn't sure, but one thing is certain: the Saursunes aren't done with her yet. ------------ Updates are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11-1pm MST.
