It's not fair. People keep telling me that "this is the only world we have", "you can't change where you are, Ailani", blah blah blah.
I don't care! I seriously do not understand why we have the pleasure of books but the tragedy when we find out that nothing in them could actually happen.
I want to live in a world where there are demons and I fight them, I want to be a demigod, I want to be part faerie, I want to be a mermaid but the harsh truth is, is that I can't be any of those things.

Jace Summers is someone who is always true to himself no matter what anyone else thinks of him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though. Those seem like very small or petty things that they could easily overcome by having a conversation, but both are too stubborn for that. It is a mutual hate that neither will give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them.
