One day, the only things separating them, the Keeper of the Barrier and the Barrier itself, disappear. Humans and paranormal creatures have not interacted for decades. What will happen? At home she takes constant abuse, all the while working three jobs to support her "loving" family, and attempting to be a mother figure to her 3 year old brother.
