I wrote this poem last year for a girls' retreat I teach at that had a Narnia theme. We used i to close the retreat as we sent the girls back from the mountaintop after a great weekend.

During the very creation of Narnia, when the White Witch had not yet begun her reign, Aslan himself crafted a girl from Narnia itself...for it had been foretold that when the Heart of Narnia united with two Sons of Adam or two Daughters of Eve, they would bring an end to the White Witch's reign. Aslan then sends the girl away, placing her in a magic wardrobe and leaves her to be raised in our world, with only three memories: Her name: Lark, The prophecy long foretold, And another thing: Dirt, Water, Fire, Air, Light. Five words that haunt her dreams. Her life was normal enough... That is, until she met the Pevensies. Also, special thanks to @winifredsmith, who inspired me to write this. The Lost Elf of Narnia
(I've done some major editing so it looks better. ;)) 12 year old Elentiya is sent against her will by Aslan to Professor Digory's mansion when the White Witch attacks Narnia, saying she is no use to Narnia dead. While she is there, her memories fade into nothing. 3 years pass, and 4 evacuees from the war invade Elentiya's life. Amelia was sent to stay with her uncle when world war 2 broke out. Her uncle's house is big and has many secrets and Amelia absolutely loved being there. She even got along with Miss Mcreedy. One day the Pevensie siblings show up, having been sent there to avoid the war back home. Amelia liked the sibling well enough, especially Lucy and she often played and talked to the younger girl. when Lucy starts talking about Narnia, a place she found in her uncle's wardrobe she is curious. She remembered stories her uncle loved to tell her and one day the four siblings and Amelia ends up in said closet. But not everything is right in Narina. An evil witch ruled in eternal winter and suddenly the five of them are thrown into an adventure none of the could have expected. (i do not own Narnia, but i own the changes I've made)Complete

π π’π«π¬π ππ¨π¨π€ π¨π ππ‘π 'ππ₯π₯π’ππ§ππ' πππ«π’ππ¬ Once upon a time, in a faraway land- well, actually near the faraway land of fantasy of which we know much about- there lay a small country named Rihaaya. It was small in terms of its geographical borders but its population was vast and ever increasing, with the agricultural production (for that was the main means of livelihood) flourishing and growing leaps and bounds. It was not a young Land- it had lasted centuries upon centuries, and was ruled by a caring and clever Queen and her kind and benevolent King- but, due to some international worry, it needed the protection of a larger and stronger land. Naturally, the most reasonable thought to secure this protection the King and Queen had was that of a marriage alliance- for, that would guarantee protection and security for years and hopefully generations to follow. And they were most pleased once they received word from the High King of Narnia- who had seen the advantages of marrying into a bountiful Queendom that had an abundance of grains and natural resources- that they were willing to accept the alliance and union. Really, there were only two opposers to this idea.
