"I did it to protect you!" My father tried to assure me, but I could not get the memory out of my mind.

"No! Framing me to send me down to the ground with 100 criminals is not protecting me," I stand up, looking at him darkly. "It ruined me!"

Adeline Cane [Ad-eh-leene K-ayn]  was not meant to go to earth. She wasn't a fighter, she couldn't build or fix anything, the only thing about the earth she knew was that it was dangerous. 

A day before 100 criminals were sent to the ground, Adeline is framed for stealing morphine from Abby Griffin, and is placed in the skybox for the night, to be sent to the ground the next day. She must learn to survive Earths ways, the ways of the people around her, and even herself. Can she come to forgive her father for what he did? 

Will Earth change her for better, or worse?
