Lux Bonteri hates being the new kid. Having moved three times in the past few years, he was used going it alone. After the death of his mother, he was forced to move to an apartment with his Aunt and Uncle. 

Once there, he meets a girl who takes him under her wing. As time progresses and the world around him starts to complicate, Lux realizes that there's a whole lot more to life than simply surviving.
