When she was young she left her family to become a criminal. She spends years in a secret organization where she trains to become something better. She learns to fight and even kill and she learns how to get away with it. But even in a secret organization there are people trying to kill them off. Lana learns that she can't trust everyone not even those who promised her safety.
Now she's in central city to be closer to her sister, to make sure she's safe. But, Caitlin doesn't want Lana's bad ways to put them all in danger. Now that Lana is in town she catches the attention of Barry Allen.
