His parents are great, but with a brother who hates him and another who argues all the time, he has had to learn over the years not to listen to his brothers.  However, when a hawk attacks camp, he gets knocked out for who knows long, and learns a terrible secret that causes him to run away, meeting Thunderclan and having hundreds of thousands of adventures that lead to captures, close death, and almost exile.
