Willow is a huge hopeless romantic from the one and only - New York City. She bases her high expectations in love off of her parents who seemed to set the prime example; that is, before their divorce. This divorce tears Willow's mother apart, and as if everything is not already enough, her job is relocated across the country to a small town in Portland, Oregon. The town is very old and gloomy and while Willow expects to hate her life there, she meets nine intriguing people who help move her along and become great friends. One of those new friends is Greyson; a compelling and charming boy whose oddity is just a little too enthralling. He enchants her and bewilders her with everything he is. He is there with Willow through all of her troubles but she starts questioning what this kid is. She knows he isn't mortal. While Greyson's and his blood-thirsty family's long-time enemies start following Willow around, she starts getting weary until they strike and Greyson must throw his future and possibly everything he has away to protect her life. Willow's standards in romance have definitely altered when she finds herself caught in a captivating love spell with a vampire from a small town that will do anything to keep her safe from the horrific realities in his everyday life.

My hoodie obscure half of my face so I doesn't know if this strange woman saw my flat expression. "I am sorry. I've been staring at you for a while which I know was totally creepy but I swear I am not. I notice that you look lonely and sad so I picked this flower and hopes that your day will become a little bit lighter." She pushed the flower a little so I was forced to take it. "Huh you're still not happy. Wait please." The redhead run towards a bush that has a sign that clearly said "Don't pick any flowers. Fine $50." After she picked a handful. She runs back to me. "Here." she offered the newly stealed flowers to me. "oh I also have a chocolate bar. do you want one?" The only thing that's running on my mind was who's this strange woman and can I take her home?
