People refused to believe that they caused this. Denial is so strong and it overtook so many people. They didn't want to accept it. They came up with ridiculous reasons to why it "Cannot possibly be their fault." Today we can see where this thinking left us. Left our homes, families, and so many people dead because people refused to accept the reality. Some people see new opportunities, a new start, yet all I see is another chance to make the same mistakes; another death for our home.
